To help combat L.A.'s water shortage, the Mar Vista Community Council is hosting a walking tour showcasing 44 drought resistant, permaculture and organic edible gardens. Find out more about the tour and get a map here.

I have heard a spot on KCRW about growing more food than you need to donate to the hungry. Unfortunately, I am driving and can't remember what the organization is called. I called the station and they don't know what I am talking about. Can you help me? Thank you and Peace,
